Important disclosure
Praeter and clinical care are separate.
Praeter Health is a non-clinical education, coaching, tracking and administrative platform. Praeter is not a medical group, medical provider, pharmacy or emergency service.
What only a licensed provider may do
- Evaluate your medical circumstances
- Diagnose a condition or establish a treatment plan
- Determine whether treatment or a prescription is appropriate
- Order or interpret clinical labs and manage clinical follow-up
Independent provider responsibility
If you choose to pursue clinical services, your care is delivered separately by an independent licensed provider. That provider—not Praeter—controls medical evaluation, diagnosis, lab decisions, treatment, prescribing, informed consent and clinical follow-up. Provider availability and permitted services vary by state and licensure.
No guarantee of care, treatment or results
Completing an intake does not create a provider-patient relationship with Praeter and does not guarantee that a provider will evaluate you, find you eligible, recommend treatment, issue a prescription or achieve any result. A licensed provider makes those decisions based on your circumstances.
Pharmacy and fulfillment
When a licensed provider issues a prescription, any dispensing, pricing, substitution, shipment and pharmacy counseling are handled by the applicable licensed pharmacy or fulfillment partner. Praeter does not manufacture, compound, authenticate, dispense or ship prescription medication.
Health OS information
Information shown in the Health OS may include user-reported or connected-source data that has not been independently verified. Tracking an item does not mean Praeter or a provider prescribed, supplied, authenticated, approved or recommended it. Praeter does not provide independent dose, combination or source recommendations.
Telehealth consent and privacy
Before any clinical visit, the independent provider may require identity verification, location confirmation, provider-specific privacy notices and telehealth informed consent. Review Praeter’s Privacy Policy before sending health-related information. Separate provider and pharmacy privacy practices may also apply.
Not emergency care
Do not use Praeter or a routine telehealth pathway for an emergency. Call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
